Violet Among Thieves Now Available
I really thought Last Chance Christmas would be the last time I wrote Chance and Violet, but at this point, I probably should have known better. You all seem to love these characters as much as I do, and somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t quite ready to let them go yet either. And so Violet Among Thieves was born. One final adventure, an elopement, a jewel heist, sassy Amanda, and two people who somehow continue to find and support each other no matter what chaos is happening around them.
This book was oddly more difficult for me to write than Last Chance Christmas, perhaps because I knew deep down that this was in a way a goodbye to Chance and Violet. But the farther I get from when I was drafting this story, the more deeply I have come to love it, despite my struggle to find the right words to do them justice. I still cry every single time I read their wedding vows to each other. There continues to be something so incredibly emotional about giving these characters their swan song after carrying them with me for so many years.
And while I don’t believe there will be any more books singularly focused on Chance and Violet, I wouldn’t be surprised if I find myself back at Montgomery Prep some day, wandering the halls, where they could be lurking around any corner.
